The New Season Of Match Game
Hello everyone! I was initially going to have my next Match Game blog post be about some of the questions I have come up with, but due to recent events, I feel the need to write about something else instead.
This past week, the entirety of the new season of Match Game was taped in three days, with a total of eight episodes. For those of you wondering how this is even possible, they taped two episodes on the first day, three tapings on the second day, and three tapings on the third day.
At the same time, I was also thinking that some celebrities would post pictures and videos of them being at tapings, but I was not prepared for what was about to happen. On the first day of tapings, a trailer was released that shared the names of some of the celebrities that will be on the season, then an article was released that shared more celebrities that will be on the season, and celebrities posting to Instagram has revealed even more celebrities. For those of you who are wondering, as of right now, we have a total of 30 celebrities that are confirmed to be a part of the season. Some of the photos also showed some pretty big changes that are coming to the show. In all past versions of the show, the setup for the panelists has been man-woman-man on the top row, and woman-man-woman on the bottom row, but some celebrities posting have shown that in some episodes the layout will be man-woman-man on the top row, and woman-woman-man on the bottom row, and other episodes might also follow this format, and at least two episodes have four female celebrities and two male celebrities. I think it’s cool that they are making so many changes, as it makes it different from the Alec Baldwin version and all other past versions.
I am now going to go over all the celebrities that have been confirmed as being panelists on this season, and I will also explain who each of them are for those of you who don’t know who they are.
